Our Funders
fit4funding is funded by West Yorkshire Grants, a Joint Committee of Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield Councils to provide support on funding and related issues to voluntary and community groups in West Yorkshire .
We receive funding from Wakefield Local Area Agreement to provide information, advice and training relating to procurement and commissioning to voluntary and community groups in Wakefield, and provide outreach services relating to funding issues to voluntary and community groups in Wakefield.
We receive funding through the Objective 2 and Objective 3 ERDF programmes to provide technical assistance to groups applying for funding from these sources. We are also funded to support these groups in looking at the future of their funding beyond the European programmes. This funding is provided through the Regional Forum
We hold the contract with the Community Foundation for Calderdale, to provide outreach support to organisations in West Yorkshire wishing to apply for funding from DfES Local Network Fund.
We are members of the bfunded partnership, and receive funding to update and maintain their website and also provide support to funding advisors in the district.
Throughout the past year we have received funding through the Active Community Directorate's Change Up programme to provide in depth support and advice to groups throughout West Yorkshire .
We are funded through the National Finance Hub to develop training resources for funding advisors throughout England together with partners CIB Wiltshire, FINE, NAVCA and SYFAB.
Our Partners
Leeds Community Foundation works with fit4funding to provide web based help and advice and a searchable database of funding sources for the Voluntary and Community Sector in the Leeds district at www.fundsinleeds.org.uk
South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau have worked with fit4funding on projects to develop accredited training courses and the provision of training for using the internet and web resources for funding for the Voluntary and Community Sector.
The Charities Information Bureau - Wiltshire have been working with fit4funding as partners to provide training and other support to funding advisors in the South of England.
bfunded is a joint venture with Bradford CVS, Keighley VS and Bradford MDC to provide coordinated funding advice, training and support for funding advisors, and comprehensive training and support for the Voluntary and Community Sector in the greater Bradford district including web based help and advice and a searchable database of funding sources at www.bfunded.org.uk
The National Open College Network (NOCN) provides accreditation for courses provided by The CIB and its partners.
WYLDA (West Yorkshire Local Development Agencies) is the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) infrastructure forum for West Yorkshire
