Wednesday 30th May 2012 Community Anchors – foundations for sustainable communities event

THIS EVENT IS NOT TO BE MISSED – SO BOOK EARLY! 

This is a FREE full day Community Cascade Event for those running or working in community buildings or are members of networks or consortia.

Speakers from the Big Lottery and Locality will talk about new developments.  You will also hear from practitioners who have established successful community centres and networks.

There will be the opportunity to participate in workshops on environmental sustainability, funding, community cohesion and marketing.

The Community Cascade Project, which is funded by the Big Lottery, provides support to community anchors in West Yorkshire; these include community buildings, faith centres and community networks.

Lunch and Refreshments are provided.
