Help for Community Groups & Voluntary Organisations - Wales

In many respects funding for Wales differs from that in England . Some of the funding sources listed in this website are not available in Wales , while others have different programmes for Welsh projects. There are also funds specific to Wales which are not referred to on this website as it is primarily designed for use in England .

The key elements of making a funding application are the same in Wales as elsewhere in the UK and the range of issues covered in the information and work sheets should prove useful to you.

The fit4funding newsletters include items for both England and Wales

Arts

The Arts Council of Wales

The Arts Council of Wales wants to see a robust and secure sector, capable of developing and evolving over time as circumstances in Wales change. The role of the arts as part of Welsh culture is integral and immutable, and it is in partnership with artists, arts organisations, local authorities and the Welsh Assembly Government that this message will continue to be reinforced. The way that this role is delivered on the ground will change over time as Wales as a nation grows and develops.
