Outreach Support - Currently available for groups in Kirklees and Wakefield
- What is it? A free advice and support service about funding and issues related to funding
- Who is it for? Voluntary and Community groups looking to raise money for their activities
- How? Through one to one support tailored to the needs of your group
- When? We provide a flexible service 9.00-5.00 during weekdays, according to your needs and the availability of outreach staff
- Where? At a convenient and accessible venue, e.g. your local community centre. The outreach staff will arrange this with you
One to One outreach can be accredited through Open College Network
How we work
Because we recognise that every group is different, we prepare and deliver information and support in the way that most meets your groups' needs.
How much support?
We can provide up to 2 full days of support to any group. These can be made up of a mixture of activities including: One to one meetings; Attendance at staff or committee meetings; In house short training sessions; Telephone or e-mail support.
We will discuss this with you once we know your needs to ensure you get the support you need.

- Give information and presentations about funding to others in your group, to raise awareness and help discussion
- Help you develop your skills in making funding applications
