Marketing

Apart from selling your goods and services marketing is seeking ways to:

  • let people know what you do
  • increase your profile
  • encourage people to volunteer to help
  • inspire your volunteers and staff
  • keep your work in the mind of those who might fund you.

This may influence:

  • individual philanthropists
  • those in business who give those from trusts or other sources of funding who decide on where funding goes
  • local and national politicians who might be in a position to create funding schemes.

If you're one of life's optimists - welcome home. If you aspire to be a positive thinker - welcome to our world - www.optimistworld.com The time is right for a daily look on the bright side. Something different. Here at Optimist World you'll find it.

In the UK there are almost 170,000 registered charities. Without doubt, all of them are doing an amazing job in generating funds for their respective causes, often making it difficult to make an educated choice about which charity you would like to support most. Particularly small charities, despite often being the most efficient, struggle on a daily basis to create the much needed awareness and the necessary funds to fulfil their goals.
Here at Optimist Charities, they will not only list all UK registered charities, but also provide free promotional opportunities specifically for charities below an annual income of £500,000.
Each week, Optimist World give five charities a chance to promote themselves with a featured article. It doesn't stop there, as they encourage the public and their panel of Optimists, each week to vote for their favourite of these featured charities. The weekly winner will receive a cash reward and move on to the next round in their Optimist Charity of the Year Award.
To help your preferred charity that you support, or are involved with, or simply if you would like to nominate a charity to be listed or featured, please fill in the form on their Website: http://www.optimistworld.com/files/docs/charities_form.doc

Those visiting the website will be encouraged to link to their own website (or a site such as http://www.charitygiving.co.uk ) for donations.
