Voluntary Action Kirklees provides information and support to groups throughout the Kirklees area in:
- Setting up groups
- Constitutions and legal status
- Planning and management
- Looking for sources of funding
- Help with funding applications
- Information on networking with other groups
- Any other aspects of group development
Voluntary Action Kirklees run a selection of training for volunteers and paid workers within the voluntary and community sector including subjects such as training for management committees, finance courses, budgeting and policy development courses. Help is available to identify skill and learning needs of staff, volunteers and trustees.
fit4funding
fit4funding runs training sessions throughout West Yorkshire on fundraising skills for community groups. Some of these run throughout Wakefield District and at fit4funding Wakefield premises at 93 Lawefield Lane, Wakefield
